Update:
John is making the big move from Amsterdam to Greece this week—he's leaving on April 17 and will be back a week later to tie up some loose ends. To show his love and thanks for all your support, he wants to gift you one (or more) of Julie's paintings. Check out the available pieces and reserve here: https://tinyurl.com/JuliesArt (just hit the reserve button and fill out the form with your info).
The only thing you'll need to cover is the shipping (if there is any)—John will send you an online payment request. The original GoFundMe page is back up for anyone who wants to pay by credit card or if you feel like chipping in a bit more to help with John's costs (it would really mean a lot): https://gofund.me/72204bf8. If you'd like to expense art for your office, John can send you a proper invoice. Julie's larger pieces typically sold for around €3000.
If you reserve a piece in the next couple of days, you can pick it up in person in the next few weeks (Sarah or Liesbeth will reach out to confirm a time—don’t forget to include your phone number) or have it shipped from Amsterdam. John’s taking any leftover pieces with him to Lesbos and will ship any later requests from there (shipping from there will be significantly pricier). Keep in mind that large to medium canvases may be taken off their stretchers for shipping to keep the cost down. Check the "support" field (canvas, board, paper)—pieces on board are heavier and will cost more to ship.
If you're local and would like to come help load the truck from 11am on Wednesday (April 16), you'd be very welcome!
The dear friend, wife and artist, Julie Wyn Summerfield, passed away on May 7. We would like to help contribute to the costs associated with her passing and help fulfill Julie's wish that her ashes be scattered in Greece, where they spent some of their happiest times.
