Jo Ann Merritt, 83, of Salt Rock, W.Va., passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. She was born December 6, 1941 in Glenwood, W.Va, a daughter of William and Dorothy Clary Mount. She is also preceded in death by one sister Janice Smith. She is survived by one daughter, Dorthy Jo Merritt, one son, Charlie Merritt (Shawn); five grandchildren Sarah Merritt, Charlie Merritt (Skyler), Erica Feidak, Samantha Feidak and Bobbie Feidak and five great grandchildren, Frankie, Payton, Levi, Remmington, and Oaklynn. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville with Rev. David Cardwell officiating. Burial will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery, Glenwood. Friends may visit from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
