HIEM — the Human Institutional Economic Model — is an independent research and development project focused on the architecture of economic activity, institutions, and new ways to model complex economic systems.
A substantial part of HIEM has already been created and published. The project now has public websites, research materials, Book 1, digital infrastructure, and an expanding body of work. The next stage requires continued research, development, testing, publishing, and the creation of practical experimental environments.
At the moment, the project needs funding to keep its existing infrastructure running and to continue development.
Funds raised through this campaign will be used for:
— domains, hosting, servers, and other public infrastructure;
— continued HIEM research and development;
— development of the first virtual HIEM sandbox for modeling, testing, and experiments;
— preparation of new books and research publications;
— new and improved versions of existing HIEM books and materials;
— development of public tools, documentation, and other parts of the HIEM ecosystem.
The immediate priority is simple: keep the project online and moving forward. Domain renewals, infrastructure, research, and development all require resources, and at the moment those costs are difficult to cover without outside contributions.
The €3,000 goal is intended to provide a practical working reserve for the next stage rather than finance the entire future development of HIEM.
Every contribution, large or small, helps extend the time available for research and development and helps preserve the infrastructure that has already been built.
