Col. Greg Townsend was killed tragically when he stopped to help a stranger on the side of the road change a tire, when the vehicle fell on top of him. He was air lifted to VCU trauma hospital but died on Monday. He lived to serve others & served his country for over 20 years with tours of duty in both Iraq & Afghanistan, earning him 3 Bronze Stars and 4 Meritorious Service Awards. He and his wife have four children — and anything we can do to make her burden easier, would be appreciated. For the man who always gave to others, let’s give to his family in their time of need.
