Support GPat Patterson's pursuit of justice!

Professor GPat Patterson is an award-winning trans nonbinary scholar whose contributions to LGBTQ belonging have been nationally recognized by top organizations in their field. Despite this, they have faced disability and gender discrimination at their academic institution and violations of their First Amendment rights.

They are now bound up in a lawsuit against their university. Discrimination and retaliation cases against major institutions are rarely pursued due to their exorbitant cost. As members of Dr. Patterson’s community, we have started this GoFundMe on their behalf to help with reimbursement of costs incurred during this lengthy process. All funds raised will go toward reimbursing the out-of-pocket costs already incurred by GPat and their legal team and anticipated costs going forward through trial and any appeals if necessary. Our goal is to raise $20,000.
