Ebony Tomatoes Collective is a multi-media, digital zine for the emotional and spiritual stories of black women and non-binary folks. Our mission is simple — to give black artists a nurturing destination to decolonize their stories.
As a 100% independent, grassroots publication, contributions from our community make a big difference. Your contribution will cover publishing and website costs, fund community events/programming, and grow our platform to create more opportunities for black creatives.
Our leadership team is made up of 9 black women and non-binary folks with roots from New York to the Dominican Republic to Sudan. Although our entire team is college students or recent graduates under 25 years old, we are published authors and filmmakers with work featured in Tribeca Film Festival, New York International Women Festival, Fujifilm Create Forever Students of Storytelling, Washington Square News, Black Star Film Festival, North Star Media, Honeysuckle Media, The Unplug Collective, NYU Local, NYU Gallatin's Confluence and more.
Your contribution will directly support our mission of uplifting and celebrating black stories. We hope you will join us in making a difference.
