Our beloved De Anna Harris has passed away. She has been gone for nearly three weeks, and our hearts remain heavy as we struggle to lay her to rest. De Anna paid her life insurance policy faithfully and made the proper arrangements necessary to ensure she had funding to cover her funeral whenever the day came. Although her policy was in good standing, the insurance company is taking longer than we anticipated, and we have no clear sense of when they will decide to pay out. This delay has left our family not only grieving but also deeply disappointed and disgusted by the lack of urgency and response from the company during such a vulnerable time.

We had a tentative date for her funeral set for Saturday, June 14, but without the insurance support, we were forced to postpone. We are now hoping to lay her to rest very soon. In the meantime, we want to give her the dignified burial she deserves—a final farewell that reflects the love we have for her. The funeral costs total $8,000, and every contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to giving her the peace she is due and allowing our family the space to grieve and heal properly.
