I am the mother of Christopher Michael Levins. I got the worst news no mother should ever get. The start of my New Year's Day began with the police knocking on my door to tell me that Chris had gotten drunk in his garage, passed out, and froze to death. It has been a nightmare ever since.
Chris was a loner, but he always tried to see the best in people. He was always there to help whenever he could. Family meant everything. He left behind his twin brother, Joshua, and his young sister, Selena. Chris was a hard worker and loved to go fishing, camping, and playing video games. We would always debate on topics, and even when we didn't agree, we respected each other's views. I'll miss so much of my son that I cannot put it into words.
Our family never asks for things, and our pride doesn't let us take "handouts." We don't come from a well-to-do family, but our morals and values are strong. But in these circumstances, I am not in the position to fully pay for Chris's cremation or any other things that come along with all this. So, I am reaching out for any contribution to this cause. And if you can't donate, then I will take your compassion, your empathy, and your prayers. Thank you for any help in any shape or form.
