Contribute to Avi's next film: a remake of a Horror Classic

Hello all! My name is Avi Singh, a writer, director, actor, and stuntman. After about a year and a half working in the local film industry, I wrote, directed, and acted in my very own short film, titled Weapon 47, which received some excellent reviews at its screenings. My collaborators and I, who have all worked very hard to start careers in this industry, are determined to continue the momentum from Weapon 47 and our other projects. We aim to keep making entertaining and engaging films on a consistent basis and continuously elevate our platform with each one until we are telling stories to the world as a whole.

Films, as everyone knows, are expensive to make. Those I work with and I lend our expertise, experience, and labor to bringing our ideas to life. The one thing we tend not to have enough of is capital. We are able to make small budgets count, but still need some assistance in having enough to properly make a movie with.

My co-director, Lexi Whitfield, and I are already in pre-production for our next project. We will be doing a '70s style, short-form remake of the 1974 classic horror film that is considered to be the ORIGINAL slasher film, Black Christmas. Black Christmas has had two remakes that were lauded and hated by the majority of viewers. As passionate fans of the original film, we aim to make a short that both honors the original and gives new blood and love to this classic tale.

The film is an original take on the premise of the first Black Christmas and features all new relatable characters, an update for modern times and technology, and a terrifying take on a classic killer, the original slasher.

In order to make this film effectively, we would like to raise $3,000. These $3,000 will go towards props, costumes, equipment, set design, post-production, and everything that gives the film the quality we wish to achieve.
