Hello!

 

My name is Armandas Jursys, born in Lithuania, age 17.

I started judo at the age of 5, and I am currently a brown belt in judo.

I currently compete at the international level for Judo & BJJ.

 

I've now been sponsored by UFC Gym Nottingham since the start of 2020 which has helped me to achieve a lot more.

 

I take a train every day from Grantham to Nottingham and back to be able to attend all the sessions at UFC Gym which is a key to my success.

 

My most notable results:

 

Placed #1 in All-Stars BJJ Europeans Gi

 

Placed #1 in All-Stars BJJ Europeans No-gi

 

Placed #2 in the BJJ No-gi British Open.

 

Placed #2 in the Kent International Judo Tournament.

As an elite-level athlete, I have to train daily which requires a heavy reliance on traveling to and from professional gyms and high-caliber events.  The travel costs are the heaviest financial burden, and I rely primarily on sponsorship and goodwill from friends and family, which is why I have set up this page as some events are overseas and expensive to attend. Your help is very much appreciated.
