It is with extreme sadness that we announce Marvis Phillips's passing unexpectedly on April 4, 2023. Marvis was a San Francisco community leader for over 40 years, taking on leadership roles around Public Safety, Planning & Land Use, Housing, and Senior and Disabled concerns. Marvis unselfishly touched the lives of so many, and it's our turn to give back.
Friends of Marvis Phillips sponsor this GoFundMe. We are raising contributions that will be given to Marvis Phillips Estate to assist with funeral costs, unexpected expenses, and commemorative ceremonies.

Marvis' wishes were to be cremated, and arrangements are being made to scatter his ashes at sea in a private ceremony.
