Continuous Glucose Monitor Fund

December 30th, 2016 drastically changed my life. As a 16 year old teenager I had been used to be relatively carefree and enthusiastic, until I was admitted into the ER with off the charts blood sugar levels and was in Diabetic Ketoacidosis. Up until this point, I had been a perfectly healthy child. My immune system, triggered by something, killed my beta cells on my pancreas that produce insulin. I became a Type 1 Diabetic. I'm asking for help now because my family's insurance will not cover a piece of medical equipment known as a Continuous Glucose Monitor that will make my daily life more like it used to be. It monitors my blood sugar levels 24/7 and it would give my parents and myself piece of mind. Thank you for any help!
