Continuing the Faith for Sharon's Miracle

My name is Jenny Beavers, and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read about my friend Sharon Odom and her recent cancer diagnosis. Sharon has been a good friend and coworker to me for many years. We've definitely had our share of fun and adventure! She's been there for me through the good times and the tough times. Now it's my turn to be there for her. I'm asking you to help me see her through her tough time. Sharon had surgery November 8, 2023, to remove her gallbladder after having what she thought was a gallbladder attack. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Gallbladder Cancer soon after her surgery. We have all been blindsided by this devastating news. I would love for her only focus to be on her health and cancer treatment.

Sharon has been working full time and continues to work full time in order to maintain her insurance (and sanity). Since her diagnosis she has been receiving chemo treatments but has not gotten the results we all would hope for. The cancer has spread to even more lymph nodes in her abdomen and chest. She will be traveling to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan NY on March 25th.

I am so excited that she was accepted and will be making this trip to see what options are available to her. I would like to make the financial burden of everyday life easier for her during this stressful time. I have no idea of the final cost of this time spent out of state, but I'd love to help ease the burden of both the trip and home expenses so that she can go seek her cancer treatment and not have the financial worry of being away from home and work.
