Hello, Rod’s nephew here. What a roller coaster… As many of you are aware, before Christmas (Dec. 15th) Rod had went to a routine appointment for a transfusion and ended up going into cardiac arrest twice that day. He subsequently was medically sedated and placed on a ventilator at Mayo - Mankato and then Transferred to Mayo - Rochester.

He has been fighting infections and a number of other issues and is currently on a Trache. His wife Brenda has been at his side through all of it and this go fund me is just for any financial relief they could possibly find through this latest long term hospital stay. Bills at home, Bills at Brenda’s rented home in Rochester, travel expenses, etc.
