Continue the Legacy of The Gathering Cafe

The Gathering Cafe!

"For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them" (Matthew 18:20).

As many of you may or may not know our amazing Gathering Cafe is relocating and moving downtown! Unfortunately, this is not their choice due to their current location no longer being available to them.

Due to this forced change, to keep the Cafe alive they need to come up with the funds to outfit a new location. The Gathering Cafe has to be out of its current location on February 17th and the goal is to open in their new home on March 1st (renovations pending) The renovations are pretty costly and while they do have some funding to help, The Gathering Cafe still needs more...

To some, this may be just a simple place to stop and get coffee on their way to work. To others, it's a second home. A place where we as a community can feel safe. We can show up bruised, broken, happy, sad, or full of life. You walk in feeling one way and then instantly feel the presence of the holy spirit. You leave with not only your stomach filled but also your heart.

Maybe it’s the uplifting Christian music playing as soon as you walk in?

Maybe it’s the way the owners/ staff care about every one of their guests.

Maybe it’s the taste of the cinnamon rolls or fresh lavender lattes?

Maybe it’s the way you rekindle an old friendship?

Maybe it’s the way the scripture on your cup of coffee spoke directly to you.

Or maybe it’s just a place that makes you feel loved.

I’m putting together this GoFundMe page because I know our amazing Ocala community can come together and help “our cafe”. I would love nothing more than to see The Gathering Cafe reopen its doors on March 1st in its brand new home! I look forward to seeing what the future holds for this amazing cafe and the lives that will continue to be changed!
