Honoring James Houser’s Legacy,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved father, James Houser Jr. on March 7, 2025. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to so many. A proud U.S. Army veteran, he dedicated his life to service, family, and community.

He was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He always put others before himself, offering unwavering support, kindness, and generosity to those around him. Whether it was his family, friends, classmates, or fellow soldiers, he made an impact on everyone he met.

Throughout his life, he remained active in the Lake Wales High School Class group and his Army Reserve unit, the 495th Transportation Company. His love for his fellow service members and classmates was unwavering, and he cherished the bonds he built over the years.
