Continuation of my dance studies

Hello everyone,
My name is Paola, I am 17 years old, a committed high school student with high grades and I am an aspiring professional dancers. Thank you for taking the time to read my pledge.

I started dancing at the young age of 6 years old, after my parents gifted me a CD of a dance class for beginners, which pushed my interest for ballet forward, a year later my mom enrolled me in a ballet school and I started a dancing program. The commitment was minimal, I studied only three hours weekly and I was super happy to go to lessons. As the years went on, my commitment increased and even changed four schools to find the best for my needs. At the end of each year, I participated to many final shows.

Presently, I am attending the Accademia dello Spettacolo Unika. I have studied the Vaganova Method for one and a half year. A variety of workshops in Italy followed and in July 2018 I passed the audition with Alvin Ailey, American Ballet Theatre of New York.

For those of you reading this message, I just want to say it is my strong desire to become a professional dancer. I would like to go to New York next summer to continue my studies and perfect my dancing techniques. However, the expences are overwhelming for a 17 years old like me, living in a family of five where only the father provides for everyone's school needs.
I am in needs of funds, I can only achieve my goals and dreams with your great help. Every donation, small or large is much appreciated.
