Contemporary Opera Marin

Paul Smith and the cast and crew of Contemporary Opera Marin are raising funds for our performances at Holy Sepulchre Anglican Church in London this August 2 through 6. We will be performing 14 operas ranging in length from 6 to 46 minutes, as well as vocal and instrumental works by important British composers.

While everyone associated with this project is paying their own way, there are many expenses associated with taking these productions to London. We are looking to raise $9,400 for this project. Any additional monies raised will go towards next year’s performances in London and Vienna.

Contemporary Opera Marin is one of several performing groups associated with the Music from Marin non-profit. The mission of the non-profit is to bring free performances of great classical music of the last 100 years, and overlooked masterpieces from earlier times, to the citizens of Marin County and beyond.

Any amount you can give will be greatly appreciated, and in case you are unable to attend our London performances, we invite you to enjoy them July 17 to 24 at the Music from Marin Summer Festival on the College of Marin Kentfield campus.
