I am writing to seek urgent assistance for our mother, Consuelo Lopez, who has recently experienced a devastating loss. Her home of 36 years, located at 1581 E Vernon Ave, was completely destroyed in a massive fire that occurred on November 28th at 3:30 am.

The fire originated from an adjacent apartment construction site and quickly escalated into a raging inferno, necessitating the response of 148 firefighters. Tragically, not only did Consuelo lose everything she owned, but her home was not the only casualty. Seven other structures were also destroyed, impacting a total of 17 families in the vicinity.

El incendio se originó en un sitio de construcción de apartamentos adyacente y se convirtió rápidamente en un furioso infierno, requiriendo la intervención de 148 bomberos. Our mother is now left without a place to call home, and the emotional and financial toll on her is immeasurable. We kindly request any assistance you can provide, whether it be in the form of temporary shelter, clothing, or financial support to help her rebuild her life.
