Hello, I am Dr. Arnaldo Rodríguez and I want to share my story with you because I firmly believe that every small contribution can transform lives. Since I began my studies in medicine in 2014 at Universidad Central del Este, I have worked with passion and dedication to become a professional capable of helping those who need it most. After graduating in 2019 and completing my medical internship amid the pandemic, I managed to enter the general surgery residency program on my first attempt. Now, almost at the end of my surgical training, my greatest aspiration is to specialize in neurosurgery.

Neurosurgery is the branch of medicine responsible for the surgical treatment of disorders of the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. Achieving this specialization will not only enable me to perform complex procedures that can save lives and improve quality of life, but it will also allow me to bring assistance to many people facing debilitating neurological conditions.

To accomplish this, I must attend an intensive microsurgery program, which will be held in Chile in the middle of next month. This course, which includes tuition, travel, and accommodation, costs approximately $4,000. With your help, you will not only be supporting my personal dream but also investing in a future where I can share and apply every bit of knowledge acquired to benefit many people.
