Jonesboro Union Church Repairs Fund

The Jonesboro Union Church is in serious need of interior and exterior repairs. Through our committee, restoration work has begun slowly over the past year. Many fund raising events are scheduled, but the repair cost is great for our congregation. Total cost estimates are between $30,000 - 50,000. We are in high hopes that this Go Fund Me fundraiser will help jump start these much needed repairs.
The Church sets on a hill overlooking the Chandler River on the coast of Downeast Maine; probably one of the most beautiful settings you will find. It was built in 1844, and cited for its architectural design, and has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
This quaint little church continues to be an important center for our faith community, for the support it gives to the warming center in winter, and for various community groups to meet, plan and celebrate. If you have not visited our congregation, we invite you to join or be our guest. All are welcome.
