Construction of the Mulana Khanzaib Shaheed Mazar & library

Purpose:

Construction of the Maulana Khanzaib Shaheed Mazar and Library in Bajaur, Pakistan — in memory of the late Maulana Khanzaib, a scholar, peace activist, and servant of the Pashtun people.

About Maulana Khanzaib:

Born in Nawagai, Bajaur, Maulana Khanzaib was educated in Islamic theology and dedicated his life to peace and community service. As a respected leader in the ANP’s Ulema Wing, he bridged faith and activism, wrote passionately on Pashtun identity, and led peace marches despite threats.

Tragic Loss:

On July 10, 2025, while preparing for a peace march, Maulana Khanzaib was assassinated in a targeted attack near Shindai Mor. His martyrdom was a huge loss for Bajaur and for all who believe in peace and education.

My Name and Relationship:

My name is Salman Shehzada, and I am organizing this fundraiser as a supporter of the community and a friend of Maulana Khanzaib Shaheed’s family. I am working directly with his elder brother, Sheikh Gul Badshah, who will oversee the construction project on behalf of the family and the community.

Funds will first be transferred to my verified Wise account (IBAN: BE18 …). From there, I will personally send the donations to Sheikh Gul Badshah, the elder brother of Maulana Khanzaib Shaheed, who will manage and directly oversee the construction in Bajaur with the support of local elders.

Why This Fundraiser Matters:

This shrine and library will be a place for remembrance, education, and unity — keeping alive the vision of Maulana Khanzaib, who gave his life for peace and social progress. It will also provide the local community, especially youth, with access to knowledge and cultural pride.
