The purpose of Friends of the Eagle School is to operate exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. We are a registered non-profit corporation and a federal tax deductible charitable organization under section 501(c)(3). All funds donated go DIRECTLY to the school project. We have NO administrative salaries or fees.

Ten years ago, Fanel LEME started Eagle School in Jacmel, Haiti to contribute to the betterment of the Haitian education system by increasing school access to the children of Jacmel. The school is giving the least of these the opportunity to attend a school. Students are also taught to have a relationship with Christ and be leaders in their communities. Every year, the school has to limit welcoming many new kids due to space limitations. The need keeps increasing and the local kids thrive to being a part of Eagle School. The school currently has 239 students ranging in Kindergarten through sixth grade.

The students are getting older and advancing to higher grades. We currently have an immediate need of a new school for the higher grades. Our dream is to provide a school for up to the 12th grade. For the grades 4-6, we have designed to build a school at a new location with 5 classrooms, a library, a kitchen, and a playground. We have already purchased the land at a great location for the school and have built a wall surrounding the property. In addition, we have constructed the foundation and the first floor walls. We have a great need to continue raising money for the completion of the final construction phases to complete and open the school.
