Kimandolu Community Learning Centre (Tanzania)

Help us raise funds to construct a Community Learning Centre in the slum area of Kimandolu in Arusha (Tanzania). The centre will be donated to and operated by MCO (Meleji Children Organisation) a register NGO charity in Tanzania.

This dual-purpose education centre will serve as a primary school for impoverished local children in the mornings and in the afternoon & evenings local volunteers will host classes on practical skills like sewing, car repair, healthcare, food horticulture, basic computing etc. The centre will be constructed adjacent to the existing pre-school building constructed in 2024.

For just €3500 we will construct a large classroom with solar power, supply classroom tables and chairs, start a community garden, build toilets and an outdoor seating area and purchase basic learning material supplies. We would hope to complete the construction by October 2026.
