Constance Walker's Courageous Recovery

The reason we need your help: 

I never thought I would be having to set up a campaign to help my most special and closest friend, Constance Walker.  She is facing one of the biggest battles of her life. On December 18th, Constance had an aneurysm which led to a hemorrhagic stroke.  She is still in the ICU but the prognosis today is more positive than it has ever been.  Constance has had close calls and setbacks but she always comes back to us with a fighting spirit that she needs in order to climb up that challenging mountain to get to the other side.  As her doctors have told us, she still isn't completely out of the woods yet but they believe she will survive this.  It will be an uphill battle for her as she starts on her journey of healing and recovery but we have no doubt in her determination and spirit to come back stronger than ever.  In order for Constance to focus on her healing and recovery, her friends and family are supporting her though this campaign so she will not have to worry about her finances.   When she is stable and ready for the next step, we hope to have her out of ICU and then to a long term inpatient rehabilitation treatment hospital.  



Who we are fighting for: 

Constance is only 51 and she has 2 beautiful daughters who are 17 and 8.   She is a self-employed aesthetician.  She has a love for horses and that led her to her new passion...Equus Coaching.  She is all about personal transformation and growth.  She has lived a life that is surrounded by her ability to care for others.  She is vibrant, funny, and very aware of what it takes to make a difference.  Constance will fight for a good cause and stand up for you if you can't.  She will empower you and lead you to a path of self-discovery, guiding you along the way.  She is confident, she is brave and she is genuine.  We  feel so grateful to have her in our lives and we know that she will survive this and we will be there supporting her every step of her way. 



This is where you come in:

You may know Constance or she may be a complete stranger to you but if you ever wanted to make a difference in someone's life we would appreciate any help that you can offer her. This will not only be a physical journey but an emotional one as well for her.  Most mountain paths are not directly uphill but take you through valleys to get to the next peak.  There will be winding roads, potholes and lots of ups and downs along the way as well as wonderful surprises and discoveries ahead for her.   With that being said, she will need to hear your words of encouragement, stories, good memories and pictures so please post them here!   We will be reading them to her to  lift her spirits up when she needs that extra boost of motivation.  She has an incredible support system and she would love to hear from her tribe of  amazing family and friends!
