Constance Carey Kimberly

Hi, my name is Chris and I'm fundraising for my sister, Connie Kimberly's Memorial Bench in Long Beach. She was a 3rd generation Long Beacher who loved the ocean. She recently passed away at the age of 82. Due to her wonky heart and afib, she had become very mobility challenged. Her favorite pass time was to sit on a beach and look off towards Catalina Island. She would often wish for a place to sit down along walk ways, in museums, parks and so forth. She was aware that there were many like her. She found the engraved Long Beach Memorial Benches lovely as they gave her a moment to think about that person, even if she didn't know them. These benches go a long way in immortalizing our loved ones. Connie spent her life trying to help keep Long Beach beautiful through their beaches and gardens. As a Special Education Teacher, her heart was in helping those that needed it. A beautiful bench for Long Beach that could assist those that are mobility challenged as well as provide us with a marker of remembrance for her would be greatly appreciated. We didn't realize how expensive they were so need your help in purchasing her one. In lieu of flowers or random charitable donations, we would love you to contribute to her Gofundme in her honor.
