Face Shields for the Front Line

It is hard to believe that hospitals are telling their staff they can only use one mask a day when they used to use one per patient.  While the construction industry is shutdown, Patch and Paint Pros is using their down time to produce much needed Face Shield for the Front Line medical workers. Special thanks to our volunteers and local Conshy business owners helping out with the assembly - Abe Thomson Group, Mark Danek Law Firm and Garret Plunkett at The Move Smith. The idea to make Face Shields came from another local Conshohocken business that decided to make face masks from sports uniforms. Upon hearing this story and a little research, we came across an article from a team at University of Wisoconsin-Madison.  https://www.wired.com/story/tinkerers-created-face-shield-being-used-hospitals/ Fast Forward to this week and local health staff are still in need of critical PPE. Our goal is to create 1000 masks this week and would like to make more. We have volunteer labor to put together the masks. We also have the first batch of face shields being tested out by local health workers this week.  We need your help to cover costs of the materials. The material costs per masks should be about $1/each, but due to the high demand for the materials, the price may be as high as $2 or $3 each.  Popular online retailers like Amazon and McMaster-Carr are sold out of preferred materials.  Please help us deliver over a 1,000 Face Shields for our Front Line.
