Consett Detachment THE BIG CUT 08-08-2023

Within the Detachment we are holding a fundraising event of which the Cadets have planned.

The event will involve fundraising and collecting sponsors for the Charity SSAFA and hair donation to The Little Princess Trust.

What will the fundraising include?

- Male - to Shave whole Head of hair (Buzz cut) or to a minimum of a no2 guard

- Female - to cut a minimum of 7 inches of hair off, and the hair will be donated to the Little Princess Trust.

What is the Little Princess Trust ?

The Little Princess Trust provides free real hair wigs to children and young people, up to 24 years, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions.

All Hair donated is used to be made into wings.

What is SSAFA?

SSAFA is an Armed Forces charity that is a trusted source of support for serving personnel, veterans and their families in their time of need.

The BIG CUT will happen on the 08/08/23
