Consentino School Family Barbecue Grill

My school is located in Haverhill, MA. We are a Title I school with approximately 800 students. We are a very diverse school community. Our school is currently in a Turnaround Process with the state of MA. We are trying to encourage more parental participation by hosting more parent nights and family events. Recently, we hosted a Family Barbecue Night where we hosted over 600 people. My staff grilled over 600 hamburgers and hot dogs. We would like to purchase a commercial gas grill rather than rent one every time to enable us host these types of events at least twice a year to encourage more parents to feel part of our school community. In turn, it is our hope that this will increase our student achievement moving forward and make our school a model that the others in the state emulate.
