TO OUR VALUED FAMILY AND FRIENDS:
For the past few weeks, we have been keeping a keen eye on the severity of the novel Corona Virus, Covid-19 and the huge impacts it’s made on all of us. As per the frequent updates we receive from Health experts, we understood the health and well-being of our families and colleagues are of utmost importance.
Despite the growing concern, we continued to do our best to accommodate the needs of everyone as we are aware of the role we play in our community. However, on Monday, March 23rd, Premier Doug Ford announced the closure of all non-essential businesses. We were given no choice but to close our doors temporarily on Tuesday, March 24th at our Scarborough and Markham locations. As you know, this was an order that we needed to follow and understood that this was an important step to make in order to impede the spread of the virus.
Closing our doors is very new to us. We are grateful for the trust you have put in us for the last 45 years and bringing us to where we are today. Your unwavering support and patronage are why we come to work every day. We miss providing you with our great service and your comradery and are looking forward to serving you in the very near future.
In these uncertain times, Conrad’s Barber Shop is committed to the health and well-being of our families and colleagues that make up this great Conrad’s community. It is our top priority to maintain our business continuity needed to provide the service to you. As we continue to monitor the situation together, rest assured that when we are given the green light to reopen we will do just that.
At this time, we are asking for your support in assisting our team of Barbers and Hairstylists that have been directly impacted by the closure of our stores. All monies raised will benefit the team directly. Your kindness and generosity will not go unnoticed. Feel free to donate below.
In closing, we urge you to follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and the Ministers of Government. We can all get through this only if we take the necessary precautions now.
