Conrad Jacobs Medical Treatment Fund

Hi guys. My name is Fred and I just found out my long time friend, Conrad (Blake) Jacob's has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. MM is incurable but successful treatment can prolong and improve quality of life. Conrad, along with his wife Ella are keeping a positive mindset although things have been far from positive lately. Conrad was on target to retire from his long time run as a truck driver. He had surgery to repair his eyes but after getting and recovering from Covid 19 his eye surgery reversed itself and would have to be redone before he could drive again. So he is out of work which means no medical insurance. He is currently waiting for his disability to be approved but that could be a while. This diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma came as a huge shock and surprise. Conrad and Ella are in the process of selling his pick up truck, the car and the house in order to afford treatments. So let me tell you a little bit about Conrad. I met him in the 80s when he came to play drums for the Melody Makers, my family group. I helped him from time to time on his truck route which gave us a lot of time to get to know each other. Conrad is a Native American and very proud of his heritage. I've always thought of Conrad as a "go getter". He is a hard worker and has been a great provider for his family. He has saved for the future but is quickly going through the money he has served aside. Treatments for MM are very expensive and without treatment, his quality of life goes down and his life ends before it has to. Conrad is starting to have trouble walking and is using a walker to get around, however, he has been helping to box up their belongings for the impending move. He is optimistic about the outcome. Conrad is a believer in miracles. He is prepared to meet his maker although, like most of us, he wants to put it off as long as possible. Conrad has 2 sons and a daughter. He is my long time friend, my brother in Christ as well as music. Please help Conrad with his treatments. Thank you.
