Conrad de Jesus Wheelchair Van

While training for a marathon, Conrad de Jesus was hit by an uninsured drunk driver in 2015. A much beloved physical therapist in Evansville, IN, and Owensboro, KY. Conrad was left a quadriplegic. His wife Elsa and their four children have lovingly cared for him at home with the support of family and friends.
Conrad is regaining sensation and some limited mobility. This progress has made him a candidate for a specialized rehab program at Frazier Rehab Institute in Louisville, KY. A wheelchair van is required for the family to transport him to and from that facility. Our goal is to raise the funds for this specialized van. This $20,450 completes the funding that will be provided by Medicaid and the sale of their older van.
As soon as this vehicle is obtained, Conrad can be transported and begin his program. Delaying the opportunity leaves him vulnerable to potentially fatal complications such as sepsis, UTIs and respiratory infections.
