Conquering Kidney Disease with Teressa

Where there is Hope, there is Faith. Where there is Faith, Miracles happen. On behalf of the Maryland Lady Shooting Stars we graciously request your support of the Garner family.

Our sister Teresa “Tee” Garner is currently hospitalized  fighting her most courageous battle against Chronic Kidney Disease.  Did you know that African Americans are 3 times more likely to experience kidney failure? Unfortunately, it is true.

Tee is fighting  with everything she has.  Her  beautiful smile will light up a room.  She is the kindest and most giving person you’d ever meet.  She is a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to so many.  She is selfless with her time and her heart. 

Her loving husband Coach Rigo Garner has vowed not to leave her side until he can bring her home.  Rigo is a true testament that our love endures all things.   Unfortunately,  with time away from work and mounting medical expenses they are in need of our support.  The last thing they should be worried about is financial commitments.

Rigo & Tee have given so much to our basketball community.  We can’t begin to count the number of young ladies they have supported over the years.  They’ve done so unselfishly for many years while raising their beautiful daughter Kamryn and their wonderful sons.   

They have experienced a great deal of loss in recent years.  Yet, they remain steadfast and faithful.   Please join us in surrounding this family with love, prayers and gifts of financial support.  No gift is too small.  All funds will go directly to the family.
