Conor Dowers Memorial Bench
Donation protected
My beautiful boyfriend Conor Dowers very sadly passed away on 21st December 2020 at the age of 22. It has been the toughest few months for me, his family and his close friends and we are doing everything we can to push through and make him proud.
I am putting this page together to raise money for a memorial bench for Con, something special that we can have to remember him by. We are planning to place the bench in Wilmington Square, located around the corner from The Urdang Academy - the musical theatre college he spent his last few years studying at. This was a place where he shared lots of fond memories with his close friends and teachers, which we will all cherish forever.
Those of you who were lucky enough to know Con, will know that he was an incredibly genuine, humble and selfless angel who’s talent was like a breath of fresh air. This bench is something that I and everyone close to him would feel very grateful for, so any donation big or small would be so appreciated.
Any contributions remaining after the purchase of the bench will be donated to the charity Mind UK. This is a charity that has always meant a lot to myself and Conor, as the work they do has impacted thousands of people with their support. They have also personally guided me through this difficult time, so I’d love to show my appreciation for their dedication and awareness towards mental health.
Having this bench will be very uplifting during this time of grief and sadness for myself and Conor’s close ones, so we will be very grateful for anyone’s support. Thank you for taking the time to read this, it means the world.
