Connor’s Mission began 10 years ago with one simple, powerful wish: Connor wanted to help sick children and “change the world.”

What started with him packing up his own toys, both new and old, to sell so he could buy new ones for kids facing unimaginable challenges has grown into something far bigger than we ever expected. Connor’s heart was moved by his friend Ella, a beautiful little girl who fought with strength, joy and courage before heaven gained a special angel on September 14th.

Since then, Connor’s Mission has raised more than $65,000 overall to help brighten the lives of children battling pediatric cancer and to support organizations working toward research, awareness and hope. That impact is something we are incredibly proud of, but the mission is not over.

Funds raised through Connor’s Mission continue to be used to purchase toys and supplies, bring comfort to children and families, and provide support for foundations and organizations making a positive impact in our communities throughout southeast Michigan.

As parents, we have always believed that true character is shown in the quiet moments, when no one is watching. Connor showed us exactly who he was when, without being asked, he decided he wanted to give something of his own to help someone else. That kind of kindness, compassion and generosity is what this mission is built on.

Connor has inspired his family, his community and people far beyond it with his heart for others and he continues to be a flicker of light in a world that can feel far too heavy at times.
