Connor's Mission
Donation protected
Connor is hoping to change the world. The past several weeks have provided a glimpse into what people truly are capable of accomplishing when we all band together for a worthy cause.
And to think it all started with our special little fella saying he wanted to help sick children and began packing his toys away, both new and old, to be carted off and sold so he could purchase new ones and bring joy to others who had been dealt a difficult hand in life. It was the least he could do to honor his fallen friend Ella. Heaven gained a special little angel on September 14th of last year.
Funds raised will be used to both buy new toys and provide grants to foundations for pediactric cancer research and awareness. I've always felt that the true indicator of character, integrity and kindness is doing something good and righteous when nobody else is looking. Well, I witnessed Connor doing all of this from afar without any prodding. This of course after he whispered to me earlier that he wanted to "change the world." I'd say he passed the test...and we couldn't be any prouder.
Keep fighting the good fight little buddy and continuing to be the flicker of light through all the darkness we unfortunately have to wade through far too often in our lives. You've brought me, your mom and others to our knees, with tears of joy and hearts full of more love and adoration than you'll ever know.
The outpouring of support from the community and beyond has been incredible and my family, Ella's and the families of all the kids whose lives you're helping brighten are eternally grateful!
