My name is Connor and I am raising money to benefit Family Promise Of York County Inc.  Family Promise provides a comprehensive and compassionate program of meals, shelter and case management services to homeless families through a community network of congregations and staff that foster long-term self-sufficiency, independence and success for families. 

I am working toward earning my Eagle Scout rank as part of Troop 108 in Fort Mill, SC, and have chosen to do my service project for this organization. Along with my family, I have volunteered with Family Promise and have seen the hardship these families go through. One thing that caught my attention is often times they carry their belongings in trash bags as they move from church to church.  It is my desire to provide Family Promise with 100 duffle bags filled with essential items such as a pillow, fitted sheet, blanket, towel, washcloth, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, hand sanitizer and face masks.  For the children, I hope to also include a stuffed animal.

I estimate each filled duffle bag to cost approximately $50.00. Please join me in making a difference. Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
