Connor's Biggest Fans

Donation protected
If you know Connor, you love Connor, it is as simple as that. His ability to spread kindness and positivity is a gift that nobody shares as freely as Connor. He is often seen giving hugs in the hallways at school which he improvised with elbow bumps when Covid hit. Those hugs and elbow bumps are day brighteners for anyone who is fortunate enough to be on the receiving end because behind them is the biggest heart and the brightest smile, certain to uplift anyone’s day. Connor has recently received news that his mobility will be limited due to results from an MRI. (See below for more info). He has a knack for seeming to know when others need a little extra encouragement in their day and now we have an opportunity to brighten his. Connor is a die hard Packer fan, and we would love to give him the gift of seeing his team vs. the Vikings on November 21st at US Bank Stadium. We are hoping this will help to brighten Connor's already brilliant spirit.

In the spring of 2017, Connor was diagnosed with Perthes Disease - which is when there is a loss of blood supply to the joint that connects your hip to your leg. He had extensive surgery and had a brace implanted with several screws to reposition the joint and repair it. He wasn't able to move his legs for 6 weeks and was bound to a wheelchair. After 6 weeks he was able to slowly put a little weight on his leg. With physical therapy he was slowly able to move better and better. He was still not able to play any sports for over 1.5 years. Even several years later he still doesn't have full strength in his leg and walks & runs with a limp. Connor has had to push himself harder in sports just to keep up with his teammates. This caused him to put more stress on his left leg (his good one) and in turn ended up developing what's called Osteochondritis Dissecans in his left knee - which is when you start losing blood supply to your knee. Connor had an MRI done at Mayo Clinic in Rochester last Wednesday where it was also discovered that he has early signs of Perthes Disease now in his left hip as well. Connor has been ordered by his doctor and surgeon to stay completely off his left leg until he can meet w/ his surgeon to see what the next step is.
