Connor's Mission to Wales

Throughout college, I was an Atheist. I hated all forms of religion and wanted nothing to do with it. During my fifth year of being an atheist, I started to feel like there was something missing.I would see the peace that Jesus Christ was bringing friends of mine. I started to long for that peace. So one night, I asked god to show me that he is real and to give a sign that I can not refute. So, the next day, while walking to class, I was given a new testament bible by a member of this church group that was visiting campus. Later that night, I said to god, " Im going to read this and the first thing that I read better be something I can not shake or Im done with you." I opened it up and the first thing I read was John 16:33, " I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” I accepted Christ that night.

Since I have become a christian, I have been on two short term mission trips with First West Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA.  During those trips, I was introduced to an organization called Missional Links Wales. The leaders of this organization told me about an opportunity of a long term internship with them, where young people like myself serve a county and a core church in Wales.  In 2019, I have been accepted for the internship. 

In wales currently, there are only 2% evangelical christian. So, the need is great. With a donation, you can help send me to wales and help reach many people.
