Update on behalf of the Maher family (28/09/2025):

The Maher family have now advised that they have decided that the funds that are being raised will be put into an account for Connor and Emily’s children, Theo and Melody. Some of the funds may also be used for charitable purposes and donated.

The family have requested that on the day of the funeral only flowers from the family please.

The family have asked that anyone who hasn’t already, that would like to, make a donation to this page that will go to the fund.

The page will now stay live until October 15th so as to give ample opportunity for those who want to donate.

The family again would like to thank everyone for their generosity - and as much as the funds have been gratefully received for the children the family have also taken a great deal of comfort from the sheer number of people who have donated and sent them messages.

Like so many of us I am absolutely devastated at the loss of Connor!

He lit up so many lives and bought so much joy to every room he was in.

He was a rockstar, a chef and an amazing friend to everyone. Above all else he was a dad to Theo and Melody and husband, and best friend, to Emily.

Leaving the world at such a young age I think everyone who can would like to make a donation that Emily can use either for the funeral or use for the kids.

Donate what you can for one of the greats!
