Connor Jeffery Surgery Recovery
Donation protected
Hey everyone! My brother Connor has had a few surgeries performed in the last 3 1/2 months. The first surgery was for his right elbow. He fell down a flight of stairs and shattered his elbow. He has had reconstructive surgery to it where they placed metal plates and screws to help stabilize it again. This, of course, has put him out of work. His elbow is healing really nicely and is on track with his recovery. He still cannot bear full weight with it, but he has regained a lot of movement and is slowly starting to be able to bear more and more weight.
Most recently, in early June he had another surgery for a completely separate issue. He had a shunt placed in his head to help alleviate the fluid and pressure building up around his brain from his Hydrocephalus condition that he has had his entire life.
We are thrilled to say that the surgery went really well and Connor is now home recovering!
He has been incredibly eager to get back to work since he has now been out for over 3 months. But healing is the priority right now so he can have a full recovery. He has started to return to work part-time with extra pre-cautions. But will not be back full-time until his physical therapy sessions are complete and he is 100% cleared.
As you can imagine, it has been a difficult 3 1/2 months being out of work. As he slowly starts to come back, I am hoping to try and relieve some of his financial stress with this GoFundMe page. So he can focus on a full recovery and take his time coming back to work full-time.
If you are willing and able to donate anything, he will greatly appreciate it! It will be incredibly helpful for him to have some financial stress relieved for the summer.
