Connor Green memorial bench

Green Family fundraising for Connor Green who passed away recently from epilepsy. He was a real outdoorsman and acheived the rank of Eagle Scout in Troop 241 in Lafayette in 2013. We are raising funds to memorialize him in a way people who loved him can cherish. He was loved by everyone being a great leader easy going and very compassionate. Having gone on numerous back packing, skiing and white water rafting trips, he lived! He gave back to the community with love and concern. He loved being with friends in the outdoors fishing, hunting and dirt bike riding. If there would be a place anyone would want to remember him it would be outdoors, where he spent much time encouraging young scouts and planting the seeds of loving the outdoors. We invision loved ones and friends visiting him there in nature and reflecting on his patient leadership that was instrumental in their love of the outdoors.

The bench will be maintained for 10 years by the park with an option to renew. If you would like to contribute it would be greatly appreciated by him, his family, and his friends.
