Connor & Jess Stickney

Donation protected
Connor and Jessica went for a motorcycle ride around 5pm on Saturday, June 6th in Barrington Hills. Shortly after their ride began, they were struck head-on by a careless driver on Lake Cook Road and thrown from the bike.

Connor and Jessica were both  injured in the accident. Jessica suffered minor injuries while Connor suffered a broken pelvis, broken left femur, broken left knee and his ankle and foot were smashed on the left side. Since the surgeons were unable to save Connor's foot and ankle, the decision was made to amputate from the knee down.  Connor's amputation surgery was Thursday, June 18th.

Connor was in the Surgical ICU for a few days following the crash and was ultimately transferred to the Orthopedic floor at Lutheran General Hospital where he is today.  Jessica was discharged from Good Shepherd Hospital in the early morning hours after the crash.

Connor continues to get stronger every day after his amputation surgery. The goal is to get Connor to the OT/PT floor and home as soon as possible! All funds raised will go towards medical expenses
