As all of us who love her know so well, Connie O’Brien is an all around amazing woman, wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and genuine friend. It’s incredible how she has maintained such a positive attitude with all the struggles that she has had to face this past year. Since being diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer 6 months ago, she has proven that she is determined to do everything in her power to win this battle. With the support of her incredible family and friends, Connie has endured chemo and a double mastectomy with a level of courage, strength, and grace that is astounding. The many medical and financial challenges that the the O’Brien’s have faced this past year has left them with a mountain of debt. Once recovered from surgery, Connie’s next hurdles will include reconstruction surgery, radiation and ongoing therapy. Our hope is to give this amazing family the opportunity to focus their time and energy on Connie’s recovery rather than stressing over their financial situation.
