Continued care for Connie

Connie has been being treated for multicentric B-cell lymphoma since October 1st 2021. She has gone through three protocols and relapsed on December 28th 2023

We are extremely lucky that Connie is still alive (the media survival time is 360 ish days.)

The nature of the game, unfortunately for her, is an inevitable relapse. We are treating her with Vinblastine/Mito every 1 to 2 weeks to keep her lymphoma at bay starting December 29th 2023

We are also lucky that we fundraised a huge portion of her first two treatments and are forever grateful. And with the help of Czar's Promise, they will cover the cost of the chemotherapy drug. Our previous fundraisers went directly to Care Credit, food, medication, diagnostics, recheck, unforseen hospitalization, you name it. 

Stacey (mom #1) is privileged that Connie is one of her patients so there is some financial benefit to that. Connie's diagnosis got Stacey into Veterinary Oncology and ignited a love for this section of medicine. 

So here we are. There are pros and cons to everything. The con here is financial stress.

This GFM will cover the remaining balance and care credit (about $5500-$6000) and a chunk of her next treatments. This GFM is also a continuation of her relapse back in April.
