Connie's Birthday Gone Wrong

On February 3rd, Connie went out for brunch to celebrate her birthday. She fell in the restaurant's parking lot and was taken to the ER. Her week of vacation from her hospital employer ended with her as a head injury patient in that same hospital. A stroke subsequently complicated her recovery, and she was transferred to an acute rehab unit. She has suffered additional setbacks in her recovery, including an upper GI bleed, another stroke, a mild heart attack and coronary stent placement, and a UTI turned septic. She's been in and out of the hospital and rehab several times, and is currently home trying to recover, with hopes of returning to work (God willing).

As one can imagine, due to this extended period away from work, Connie has bills piling up. We are hoping that the generosity of the many friends and colleagues Connie has known during the 30 years she has worked at the hospital will help pull her through this rough period. Any amount of generosity is deeply appreciated.
