Connie's Recovery Process

Donation protected

On January 28, 2020 Connie took a really bad fall which has since resulted in her not being able to work.  She suffered from a variety of conditions, which to this day she is still trying to recover from.  Shortly after the fall she started seeing various doctors and specialists to start the recovery process.  The various recovery plans that her doctors had started to come up with had barely any time to start taking action when everyone’s favorite friend, COVID19, decided to make an appearance.  The arrival of the lovely virus, ultimately put a huge wrench into the recovery plan.  Connie was still trying to complete her various therapies and exercises her doctors wanted her to complete, but it got to be difficult.  Certain things just needed to be done in person but I’m sure as everyone knows by now, for a while in-person appointments weren’t an option.  So ultimately things got put on hold for a while; but then doctor appointments started to become where they were in-person again, so things started looking up again.  Ever since in-person appointments are available, things have started to look a little more positive.  Obviously there are still obstacles to overcome, and she is still on the road to recovery, but things are happening to help her be the best person she can be.

If anyone knows my mom, they know she doesn’t like asking for help, but she is always more than willing to help those in need, in any way that she can.  Those that know her know that if she’s asking for help, she truly needs it otherwise she wouldn’t be asking,  Being that she has been off of work since January, it has only been my father working, which means only his income to support the household. He started working from home so he would be able to be close to my mom to be able to take care of her various needs.  Even with him working, bills are starting to become an issue, between medical bills and various day to day bills.  If any of you could help out, even if it is just a little bit, it would mean the world to our family.
