This is very hard to create this page. I never would have thought that this could happen. Connie J Smith; our mother has been diagnosed with multiple stage 4 cancers. There were zero symptoms and no indications of her illnesses until her back was sore from working at Easterseals. She has cancer in her Spine, lungs, stomach and pelvic area.

 

She has always put others before herself. She is an incredible single mother. She retired from the State of Washington DSHS. She is a strong advocate for special needs and homeless organizations. After retiring from DSHS; she took her dream job by working at Easterseals.

 

Connie is too ill to do full chemotherapy; the cancer doctors are requiring her to take an oral treatment. She is now no longer capable of working and living strictly only on her limited retirement. With her medical prescription plan; the medical treatment will still cost $2400 per month.

 

It is with great humility that our family is asking for any donations.  Please help us fund her treatment.  We want to focus on slowing the progression the cancer, minimize symptoms, and maintain an optimal quality of life for her. The donations will go to her treatments that will be $2400 monthly.
