Connie Heaton VS Hurricane Helene

My name is Jessica Feathers. My mother, Connie Heaton's home, in Elizabethton, TN was damaged by Hurricane Helene. We have been very blessed with volunteers to get the house cleaned out and gutted down to the studs from floor to ceiling. Now that we have that accomplished, we will be in need of materials to get the house rebuilt, as well as new wiring and a new breaker box (it has the old fuse type now). We will also need a new HVAC unit and all the ductwork re-done. Our goal will not even touch what we really need with the expenses that come with rebuilding a home. We have applied for FEMA and have not received the inspection yet. Whatever you find in your heart to give would help more than you could ever know. As of now, my mother, my aunt, my daughter, and my grandson are at my home, and we are making it work so that everyone has a roof over their head and a place to sleep. This home is where my mother and aunt grew up, and it means a lot to them.

God has provided so much already; we are truly blessed to be alive. Thank you for taking the time to read a little of my mother's story.
