8-25-25UPDATE: We had come to Grady for a routine CT head scan to follow up on the CFS brain leak. Conner could not complete his CT head scan bcuz he couldn’t breathe. They rushed him down to the ER where he was then re-admitted into the hospital for further testing and evaluation. He has a hemothorax in his left lung. We are not sure what their plan of action will be as the risks outweigh the benefits of any surgical procedures at this time. We are still praying and they are monitoring him daily. We are not sure how long he will be in the hospital again. The family is still having to deal with expenses of going to and from the hospital, parking fees, grabbing food on the run to ensure they are there with Conner. Conner still needs our prayers and support.

Conner is out of ICU and in a regular room. He is waiting to get the clearance to go to an acute rehab facility. The doctors have ordered another CT scan because they think there’s a CFS leak in his brain and for all the doctors/surgeons to reconvene regarding his condition.

Also, he will have to stay in his neck collar for 4-6 more weeks due to the fractured vertebrae right beneath his brain stem. Please keep him in your prayers because he is NOT out of the hospital only out of ICU and he still has a long road ahead of him including weeks of intensive inpatient acute rehab.

*** Sunday, July 27th, Conner was riding his motorcycle home from spending the weekend with his friends out of town. Unfortunately, Conner was involved in an accident, causing many life-threatening injuries, and is currently in ICU at Grady. His mom, Tamara, dad, Clark, and sister, Kelsey, are all by his side.

As you know, the cost of going to and from the hospital can be very expensive and weigh heavily on the family. Let’s try to help them out during this difficult time. Please keep them in your prayers as well.
