The historic railway signal cabin at Maam Cross station, recently rebuilt with great care, was tragically damaged in an accidental fire over the weekend. This beloved landmark has stood as a symbol of our local heritage.
The Connemara Railway Project is committed to restoring the cabin to its former glory, but the cost of repairs is estimated at €50,000 - a sum that we cannot cover alone.
We are asking for your support to help rebuild and preserve this important piece of history. Every contribution, no matter the size, will bring us one step closer to saving the Maam Cross signal cabin for future generations.
Please help us restore this treasured landmark and keep our heritage alive.
